Open Air was a self-organised outdoor creative gathering at the Blue Lakes, combining drawing, photography, movement and conversation.
The meeting invited artists and photographers to observe how the body, fabric and landscape could form an image together. A site-specific experiment with red aerial fabric became an early study for Borrowed Land—an ongoing artistic idea concerned with temporary presence, attachment to place and the relationship between body and territory.
